Omar Medina (MX) is a composer, producer, and guitarist based in Amsterdam. His work blends experimental electronica, ambient, and glitch into immersive sonic environments that explore themes of migration, memory, and technological adaptation. A lifelong guitarist, Omar expanded his practice into experimental electronics, developing a hybrid approach that combines modular synthesis, custom Max/MSP software, and live performance. His music is a visceral reflection on living between eras and cultures, balancing machine-driven rhythms with slow, atmospheric textures that invite deep listening and contemplation. His upcoming album, Goleb, is slated for release in September 2026.
