Omar Medina (MX) is a composer, producer, and guitarist based in the Netherlands. Blending elements of glitch, dark ambient, IDM, and noise music, he designs immersive, narrative-driven sonic systems that explore themes of migration, memory, and technological adaptation.
With a background as a guitarist, Medina transitioned to experimental electronics to explore a hybrid workflow that bridges modular synthesis, custom Max/MSP software, and live performance. His music acts as a visceral reflection on living between eras and cultures balancing mechanical, anti-human pulses with slow, dark landscapes designed to evoke deep contemplation. His anticipated debut album, Goleb, is slated for release in Setember 2026, offering a powerful counterweight to hyper-accelerated music consumption and a call back to the vital act of attentive listening.
