Goleb is a collection of five compositions created between 2021 and 2023 that gradually revealed a shared identity. Although each piece was conceived independently, bringing them together exposed recurring ideas that had emerged unconsciously throughout the creative process: transformation, adaptation, movement, migration, and the tension between resistance and change.

At its core, this album is not about technology itself, but about the experience of living through technological and cultural transformation. It reflects the experience of having lived through the shift from a physical, analog world to one increasingly shaped by digital and invisible systems. Rather than looking back with nostalgia or celebrating technological progress, the album inhabits the unstable territory between these two realities.

Goleb is built on contrast: organic and synthetic sounds, stillness and rhythmic intensity, fragile atmospheres and abrasive textures, predictable structures and algorithmic behaviors. Each track was based on its own generative system, developed in Max/MSP and shaped through improvisation with modular synthesizers, field recordings, processed samples, and electronic instruments. These systems don't simply produce material; they create situations I respond to.

The title comes from the name of an artists' building in Amsterdam where I lived for a short period after moving to the Netherlands. Over time, the name became detached from the place itself and came to represent a broader state of transition: temporary, uncertain, and continuously transforming.
